Come una luce che riempie una stanza e cancella
pareti ed angoli, ogni cosa in me perdeva la forma,
non rimaneva nemmeno l’ombra. Ora mi acceco,
troppa luce fa male al cuore di chi vive nel buio.

Non riuscivo a distinguere il bene dal male, la mia
forma dal resto delle cose, ogni cosa in me perdeva
la forma. Ripenso ora a tutto il tempo che ho passato
a non vedere. Non posso dire di aver realizzato altro,
se non che la mia forma è incostante.

dense shadows, and in those outlines I’ll pray to see
myself, with no certainty.
